Real situations are complex and instantly stress both your body and mind. Only training in a real-world setup can give a person the knowledge and ability to make decisions in a given scenario. A part of the preparation needed to manage and survive a threat to your safety, an individual is put in a situation whereas the factor are the same in real life. Whether in combat or damage assessment, situational awareness, threat recognition, and planning can help you manage, or even avoid, threatening situations. Stress inoculation will help you prepare for the physical and mental effects that a threat to your safety will produce.
FIG's Real World Scenarios is a dynamic, immersive class training that will help students develop the skills and confidence to manage high risk situations. Every student will review threat recognition, use of force justification and tactical planning principles learned in the program. Every participant will then apply this knowledge in scenarios with live actors and machines simulating real-world situations. And upon completion of the training, awareness, decision-making and planning, and ability to manage stress will significantly improve.
